Problem

Customers want to design their whole house but our system doesn't allow them to place orders for multiple room types at the same time. This is causing inconvenience, confusion, and reduced customer satisfaction and loyalty. To address this pain point, we need to update our system to enable customers to place orders for multiple room types simultaneously and provide a feature to track orders in one place.

My Goal

  1. Enhance the user experience by designing a new system that allows users to easily select multiple room types simultaneously.

  1. Streamline the design process to better meet the needs of both designers and clients, by reducing unnecessary steps and questionnaires, and providing a more efficient way for users to submit their design requirements.

  1. Improve consistency and usability across different design processes by integrating and updating the design system, creating a more intuitive experience for both users and designers.

Design Process

The product design process begins by collecting customer feedback through interviews and surveys to understand user needs. This informs the creation of a problem statement that defines key pain points. Next, the project scope is outlined, setting goals and constraints. Low-fidelity wireframes are sketched and tested with users for validation. Once approved, high-fidelity designs and prototypes are developed. After launch, the product is evaluated for performance, and optimizations are made based on feedback.
